~Teaching Through Play Since 2002~

Thanks for visiting us online!

My name is Kayla Ludwig and I am a licensed child care provider in Omaha, NE. I have lived in Nebraska all of my life. I am proud to offer quality childcare with a family environment. I know that your children are the most important priority you have in your life. It is important for you to feel comfortable and secure with thechild care environmentyou choose. I encourage you to navigate around my website and see how much Lots of Cuddles & Care has to offer your family.

I have been providing child care for over a decade and I enjoy every minute of it. I have worked in a center as a pre-toddler teacher and was then promoted to Assistant Director and I began not only working with every age from 6 weeks old to school age, but I also began working side by side with the parents/guardians. It was a very rewarding experience to run a facility that had approximately 100 families enrolled. This center was owned by Children’s Hospital and in 2001, the hospital decided to sell all of the daycare facilities. I then chose to continue teaching and caring for children by opening my own home child care.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to do what I love with a smaller group and find I really enjoy the benefits that a home child care provides.

My own children love to help with projects and games when they are not in school. My oldest daughter is 22, my son is 20 and my youngest daughter is 17. We are a pet-friendly home. Our pets are always up-to-date on their shots & preventatives.

I believe that child care is a partnership that holds the child’s best interest as top priority and I am excited to work with you to ensure that your child is safe, secure and happy.

Forever In My Heart

Although I'm not their mother

I care for them each day,

I cuddle, sing and read to them

And watch them as they play.

I see each new accomplishment,

I help them grow and learn.

I understand their language,

I listen with concern.

They come to me for comfort,

And I kiss away their tears.

They proudly show their work to me,

I give the loudest cheers!

No, I 'm not their mother,

But my role is just as strong.

I nurture them and keep them safe,

Though maybe not for long.

I know someday the time will come,

When we will have to part.

But I know each child I cared for,

Is forever in my heart!
